Introduction

Excel Real Time Data (RTD) is a Pilot interface to Microsoft Excel. It provides users an advanced method of viewing and using real-time data in Excel. Microsoft’s Excel RTD technology provides a fast, reliable and robust means of receiving and contributing record-based data from Excel. RTD excels at working with volatile and fast moving data, such as live capital markets and foreign exchange.
